Another statistic – Farmer Henry Brown (77) of Uitkyk in Nelspruit passed away on the morning of 24 December 2019. He had been hospitalized since a brutal farm attack on him, his wife and son on their farm in the Uitkyk area, Nelspruit on 3 November. He was in a serious condition the whole time after he sustained a massive head injury during the attack and his heart stopped 2 times in a hospital in Nelspruit in the days after the brutal attack on him, his wife Martie (74) and son Tommy (53) on 3 November. The Browns have been farming on the farm for 53 years… growing food for the people who attacked them…

Jou gunsteling karnaval is terug; King Price-versekering en kykNET, in samewerking met Matchbox Live, keer terug na Dullstroom vir die tweede aflewering van Lekkerland Carnival op 7 April 2018.
Vanjaar se Lekkerland Carnival beloof om groter, beter en lekkerder as verlede jaar te wees. Kunstenaars soos Karen Zoid, Matthew Mole, Refentse, Adelle Nqeto, Bouwer Bosch en The Barbosa Experience sal tydens dié fees optree.
Die fees is familievriendelik en het selfs ’n kinderarea. Die BDI Street Performance Troupe gaan ook sorg vir hope vermaak. Natuurlik sal daar verskeie stalletjies, karnaval kos en ’n kroeg beskikbaar wees.
Die gewilde Mpumalanga-dorpie, Dullstroom, met sy interessante winkels, kunsgalerye, restaurante, bergpaaie en ongelooflike natuurskoon sal weer eens die tuiste vir hierdie unike karnaval wees. Dullstroom is sowat twee en halfuur se ry van Johannesburg en Pretoria, wat dit die perfekte naweekwegbreek vir enige gesin maak.</p
